And…She’s Closed!!!!!

Hallelujah our sweet baby is finally closed!!!!! She is settled back into her room and doing decently well for just coming out of the OR!! Praise The Lord!!! Praying the next few days of initial recovery are days of rest and encouraging progress for our Poppy!

In addition to Poppy’s OR visit, we have officially started the formal evaluation for heart transplantation. The heart failure doctors feel this is most likely what’s to come, so the fact that the process is now officially started is actually a relief to Brad and I. If she needs a new heart, she will be set up to receive one if that is what God has for her and our family. Please continue to keep us in your prayers- we are oh so hopeful and at peace about what lies ahead, whatever it may be. Thank you Jesus.

  2. Praise God!!! I will continue praying! I know He is holding Poppy in the palm of His hand. Love to you all!!

  3. Praise God, hallelujah! He is mighty indeed. Still praying and thankful that God continues to show himself through your sweet girl!

  4. I hope this means you will be able to hold your little angel soon.> praying for the rest of her journey to be a smooth ride..

  5. “I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children.”

  6. Thank You Father, for Your hands upon Poppy. Lord let her rest in Your arms of healing. Thank You that Mommy and Daddy will hold her soon. Thank You for such a beautiful baby girl You have given this family. HUG TO ALL.

  7. God is good ALL THE TIME. He still answers prayers and controls the miracles these doctors are performing for little Poppy. He formed little Poppy in her mama’s womb and knows the workings of this little body. Romans 9:21 – Hath not the potter power over the clay?

  8. Oh that is wonderful news!! I bet you are so relieved. Hopefully it will not be too much longer before you sweet Poppy will be in your arms again! You are and will continue to be always in our thoughts and in our prayers. Stay strong. Love

  9. I called great Grandma Marlene today to ask her about Poppy and was so happy to hear the closure is completed. God is so good, and we pray that this time her heart rate stays at a good range. She’s growing and I can tell that from the pictures. That’s a good sign too. We’ll also ask God for the best research and transplant that the doctors can find. I know it’s hard to think of at this time, but they will do the very best for our little Poppy. You are the strongest young couple I’ve ever known with the sincere faith you have in His wisdom. I know you have praised Him in everything and He has listened to you and all the prayer warriors lifting up your baby. Hope to see you soon.
