Thank you, Jesus!

Poppy has been off her paralytic now for 24 hours!!! Since, she has also been weaned from a couple other drips! She had a good night last night, and so far shows signs of a good day ahead! This morning she has already started opening her eyes and moving around a little!! Totally made my week! It’s been far too long since I’ve seen my girl’s big beautiful eyes πŸ™‚

She also has an eventful afternoon planned! Dr. Permut said her chest is ready to close, however given Poppy’s past few not so stable days, he feels more comfortable closing her chest in steps. So today, the plan is to put on a smaller patch to gradually start closing her chest!! Thank you Jesus!! All in Your perfect time πŸ™‚ Praying for a promising day for our girl!

Heart transplantation is brought up more and more each day. Even though Poppy has her better days, the doctors remind us that, while they are very hopeful, she is still very sick and has a long rocky road ahead, which may involve a transplant sooner than later. We will just have to be patient and see what God has in store. Only time will tell. In the meantime, we wait rejoicing! She is in His loving arms always.
